Installation & Setup

Install from the Chrome Web Store
Click the extension icon to access settings and dashboard
Grant permissions for Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity
Conversations are automatically captured and stored locally

Common Issues

Extension not capturing conversations?

Refresh the AI platform page
Check that the extension is enabled
Ensure you're on a supported platform (Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity)

Memory suggestions not appearing?

The system needs at least 3-5 conversations to build context
Check your importance scoring settings in the dashboard
Verify that memory retrieval is enabled in settings

Storage issues?

Nexus Memory uses IndexedDB for unlimited storage
You can export and backup your memories from the dashboard
Clear old memories using the consolidation settings

Privacy & Data

All data is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB
No conversation content is sent to external servers
You can export or delete all your data at any time
